/Reading the directory

Questions buyers ask first.

Why are the agencies not named?

The introduction is the product. We vet each agency, then introduce you to the three that fit your brief. A named list would turn this page into a cold-call sheet, and cold outreach is the problem this marketplace exists to fix.

What does each card describe?

One agency, in the fields we match on: the service clusters it works in, the stages it joins a project at, the industries it knows, the client sizes it serves, its engagement floor, and how many AI projects it has shipped to production end to end. Pilots and proofs of concept don't count.

How does an agency get listed?

It applies, and a person reads the application. We look for depth (a real technical bench), delivery (shipped work and references we can verify), and discipline (evaluation, guardrails, and accountability treated as the work). Approved agencies sign a listing agreement before they appear here.

How current is this directory?

We build it from the live marketplace on every visit. When an agency joins or leaves, this page changes with it.

How do I get matched?

Select Get matched. Three minutes of questions, then we introduce you to the three agencies that fit, with your Forge Playbook attached. No fee to buyers, no obligation.

/The problem

Your AI is an assistant. It should be your operating system.

  • Used to wordsmith

Your team uses AI to polish emails and clean up copy. The real lift is in the workflows no one has redesigned yet.

  • A subscription per silo

Marketing, sales, and legal each have their own assistant. None of them touch your data, your customers, or each other.

  • Activity without outcome

Pilots run. Demos happen. Nothing measurable shifts. No one can name a process AI has actually changed.

  • No owner, no plan

IT is stretched. Operations is skeptical. No one has decided what the company should become with AI.

The technology is ready. The plan is missing.

/The reframe

You don't need an AI tool. You need an AI strategy.

Most AI initiatives fail not because the technology is wrong, but because no one decided what the business should become with it. Pilots stall. Consultants deliver decks. Workflows ship and sit unused.

An AI strategy is the decision about what your business should become with AI, not what tools to buy. It defines the objectives AI should pursue, the intelligence layer that monitors and adjusts toward them, the data that feeds it, and the judgment that governs it.

Workflows are the output. Not the plan.

/Our standards

Depth.Delivery.Discipline.

We list agencies and systems integrators with real technical depth, a delivery record we've verified, and a serious posture on responsible AI. Three standards. Every listing earns all three.

  • Depth

Engineers who can build what they pitch

Real technical substance. The teams we list ship production AI, not slide decks. We test for engineering bench, not pedigree.

  • Delivery

    A record we have verified

References we can call. Outcomes we can name. We list agencies whose past work survives a follow-up conversation, not a case-study page.

  • Discipline

Governance as serious as the model

A responsible-AI posture that holds up under scrutiny. Evaluation, monitoring, and human oversight are part of the build, not a footnote.

The bar is higher than a directory. It has to be.

/How it works

From objective to operator.

Five steps. No cold pitches, no procurement theater. Just a short brief and a warm hand-off.

  1. Begin

However you found us, the door is the same: Get matched.

  2. Assess

A short intake returns The Forge Playbook, the outline of an AI operating plan tailored to your business, yours to keep, with or without us.

  3. Brief

Structured intake: objectives, stack, budget, timeline, constraints.

  4. Match

Your brief is enriched, embedded, and retrieved against the supply graph, then ranked with reasoning over fit, capacity, and outcomes. A human approves the shortlist before you see it.

  5. Introduce

Double opt-in. Calendars share. We track the outcome with you.

/Inside step 04

The matching engine, in the open.

Most matchmakers run a keyword search and call it a referral. We don't. Every brief moves through an agent trace you can read line by line. Enrich. Embed. Retrieve. Reason. Approve.

  • 01 Signals enter as your brief and become a full picture of the company, firmographics, stack, public web evidence.
  • 02 Projects and agencies meet in a shared vector space, fluent in the same taxonomy.
  • 03 A reasoning pass ranks the shortlist with explicit fit rationale, not just cosine distance.
  • 04 A human approves the match before it leaves the room.

Matching that reasons, not just searches.
